This is the home page for London-based artist Jeff Cox.

Painting for me is a way of making sense of the world and my place in

it. It is in part a therapeutic activity.

I explore the themes of memory,

relationships,birth, sex and loss.

Private thoughts are rendered

visible.

I use colour in an emotional and

intuitive way while my forms and

compositions explore the area

between the abstract and the

figurative.

The form of the square implies

a sense of order to the world

where  there is none.
